Hello comrades! yes its me you're yet again socially awkward yet lovable host, Barran.
At this very moment i am writing this post inside FE UI's library, a charming little place to just sit back and relax, to think deep thoughts (or to play left 4 dead 2 with your buddies, quietly of course), but right now those deep thoughts will have to wait for i have a larger need in mind, to finish first semester here in FE UI.
For those of you who don't know yet, I have been accepted into FE UI's international undergraduate program, along with my fellow friend Dwiki (yes the Jayus thing of a friend who also has his own blog (see http://daviatma.blogspot.com/ for more of his ridiculousness) and from what I have learned studying here is that being a college student here in FE UI is like a love hate relationship, sometimes it will be like,"my god I'm here in FE UI the best economic faculty in Indonesia." And sometimes (while doing an assignment from campus) the tone changes to this,"OH GOD WHY, WHY DO I PICK THIS FACULTY ANYWAY." As you can see, it is a great honor to be here, but don't expect studying here is a walk in a park, oh no its far from that. Thats why I name this post "The Grey Knights", officially it is the name of our athletes and artist who compete in the various competition in UI (backed by our Supporting Contingent of course, love you guys.) but for me being a grey knight doesn't always mean that you have to join an arts or sports competition, but it is the challenge to deliver your very best even at the most difficult of times. That for me is the essence of a grey knight.
P.S: If you're thinking why grey knight? well The colour of FE UI is grey, representing the mix of theoritical science and hard facts which is studied in economy (think of it as yin and yang being blended together), that's why the colour is grey.
